The role
As a Sales Executive, you’ll leverage our client’s consultation services and product portfolio to address the automation software footprints of customers operating in challenging industrial environments, from manufacturing to infrastructure operators. You’ll bring a fresh approach to their automation investments and position our client as a credible partner for achieving their needs and requirements. Your focus will be establishing long-term relationships with both new and existing customers to build a pipeline of opportunities.
Other responsibilities include:
- Analysing the industrial markets to identify growth opportunities
- Providing accurate sales reports and forecasts
- Liaising with both technical and non-technical customers
- Assisting with business development opportunities
- Aligning applications to best practices
- Driving continuous improvements
The requirements
You’ll extensive (7 + years’) experience working hands-on with automation software, with a track record of business-to-business automation technology sales. Other responsibilities include:
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Technology or related discipline
- Proven ability to manage complex technical sales
- Confident pursuing high-value, multi-stakeholder opportunities
- Knowledge of CRM and formal sales methodologies is ideal
- Hungry, driven and results-orientated
- Outstanding information gathering and problem-solving skills
- Able to interpret and communicate technical information
- Driven team player who can attend to both global and local teams
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Keen to develop personally and professionally
- Flexible and willing to travel
