Sales Inventory & Operations Planner – Cork – Hybrid

This is an exciting opportunity for a Sales Inventory and Operations Planner to join a global pharmaceutical company.

The successful candidate will optimise and execute end-to-end supply chain operations and processes by factoring in cross-functional interdependencies within the supply chain organisation, while also considering the dynamic aspects of channels and markets to inform and implement strategic decisions.

The Job:

• Monitor sales performance and conduct root cause analysis of gaps to plan, develop and propose solutions to all levels of management.
• Foster collaborative and constructive relationships with business partners (Commercial, BU Segments, Supply Chain, Finance) to acquire insights into trends, capabilities, and constraints.
• Develop, support, and deliver company/department goals and objectives, as required.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of products and suppliers to proactively identify issues at the earliest stage possible, contributing value to the resolution of supply-related challenges.
• Responsible for preparing the Pre SI&OP review meeting and prepare for Executive SI&OP meeting.
• Cultivate a robust understanding of products and suppliers to promptly detect issues, enabling the addition of value to the resolution of supply challenges at an early stage.

Have you:

• Five years of experience in operating within a cGMDP-regulated pharmaceutical environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in planning and scheduling activities, encompassing processes and familiarity with ERP systems like SAP.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement across all organisational levels, functions, and external manufacturing partners.
• Adaptable in behavior and approaches to address various situations and interact with diverse individuals.
• Exceptional analytical skills coupled with a customer service focus.
