Sales Ledger Administrator

Salary: £25,000
Summary:
At Bis Henderson, we are looking for a Sales Ledger/PCN Administrator to join a growing cold-chain services provider. This role focuses on managing the administration of all fines and penalties received and the subsequent recharge to the customer. The successful candidate will also assist and cover the Sales Ledger Administrator in raising invoices. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of Microsoft applications, alongside excellent customer service skills and a professional telephone manner. You will also feel confident working in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for administration of all PCN's and Police Notices
• Investigate and identify customers that need to be contacted / invoiced, and raise invoices
• Manage the payment and billing of vehicle fines and charges.
• Chase on-going and outstanding penalty processes for penalties older than 14 days
• Deal with any queries with regards to the Penalty Charge Notices and production of subsequent documents and attend to incoming correspondence in a timely manner
• Assist Sales Ledger Administrator during absence / busy periods

Experience:

• A competent understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
• Excellent customer service and telephone skills
• Experience working within a fast-paced office environment
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Able to work using your own initiative as well as part of a team
