Sales Ledger Clerk

Your new company
Hays have just registered a new, ongoing temporary Sales Ledger Clerk position with a well established Manufacturing business based in Bristol. Due to an extremely busy period within the Finance department, our client is offering an immediate start to this position and can also offer hybrid working.
Your new role
The successful Sales Ledger Clerk will:

• Setting up new clients.
• Cash Allocation
• Producing sales invoices.
• Cashflows
• Banking
• Reporting
• Banking reconciliation.
• Chasing up outstanding debts / covering when Credit Controller is on annual leave
• Sorting out any rebates and filing.
• Working on multiple portals to submit Sales Invoices

What you'll need to succeed
The successful Sales Ledger Clerk will require the following skills:

• Experience working in an Accounts Receivable / Sales Ledger position
• Excellent systems skills - Sage is extremely desirable
• Excellent customer service and key account handling ability
• Able to confidently discuss overdue payments
• Comfortable working towards deadlines
