RM Recruit are working with a fantastic Stourbridge based organisation who are seeking to hire a Sales Ledger Clerk on a 3 month ongoing contract. This role will support the Finance function in ensuring financial transactions are acted upon in an efficient and effective manner, whilst maintaining working relationships with both internal and external shareholders . You will also be responsible for monitoring of accounts receivable.
Main duties include:
- Raise Sales Ledger invoices on a regular basis and email out promptly to customers.
- Post receipts in the ledger in a timely and accurate manner and allocating to correct invoices.
- Ensuring that Sales Ledger is fully reconciled.
- Assist in working with internal staff to identify invoicing information errors.
- Undertake regular scanning and keep clear records to ensure information is readily available to all members of the Finance function.
- Handle incoming cash and cheques and prepare banking.
- Raise re-charge/adhoc invoices for the people we support.
- Assist with credit control to ensure debtor days are within target.
- Support the wider finance team, as required, to ensure a smooth operation of the Finance department.
The ideal candidate will be AAT Qualified or equivalent and possess experience working in complex company environments. You will be a confident communicator who can forge relationships with a number of stakeholders. You will be able to demonstrate past experience with Sales Ledger and be able to efficiently work to tight deadlines.
