Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting a growing electrical manufacturing facility in the search of a Sales Manager for their defence markets. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts whilst looking for new business opportunities within the defence division of the business.
You will analyse sales data, develop strategies, and communicate with clients to ensure their needs are met. This role will operate remotely with travel required across the UK to visit customers. You will also need to effectively communicate with both internal teams and external clients. If you are a motivated individual with a passion for sales, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and new accounts.
- Analyse sales data and market trends to develop effective strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management on account performance.
- Regularly networking and attending trade shows to develop new business pipeline.
- To proactively manage and continually evaluate all account activity, and provide options, recommendations and solutions to potential issues and opportunities.
Requirements:
- Proven experience within sales in the defence sector.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
