We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager (UK & Ireland) to join a high-end luxury hotel on a remote / field-based basis.
The primary focus of this role is to take responsibility for sales in UK market for two overseas Hotels - Generating and maintaining wholesale relationships, sales training, arranging sales calls & roadshows, identifying partnership & direct sales opportunities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for developing and maintaining long term relationships with leading luxury tour operators, Luxury travel agents, Concierge companies, tourism bodies and affiliations to ensure market share and penetration.
- Schedule weekly face-to-face meetings & calls to provide sales training and updates.
- Each contracted partner will have a target in place for each year. Ensure that plans are put in place to allow partners to reach their targets which in turn will mean a successful year.
- Organise and attend industry related functions, trade shows, exhibitions and resort-related events as per the Sales & Marketing plan or where required.
- Provide product training to tour operators and key travel agent partners through the use of sales calls.
- Keep the Managing Director UK well informed on all relevant sales correspondence and deal with situations as they arise and solve problems as they occur.
- Weekly report (WIP) including update on targets for the month, meetings held, actions being worked on.
- Maintain a high level of customer service focus by approaching your job with the customers always in mind and being proactive in a timely manner towards their needs and requests.
- Be involved with client/consumer feedback in order to maintain a good understanding of the standards of each resort's performance.
- Ensure a high level of product knowledge of the resorts and local area.
- Perform any special duties or projects as assigned from time to time by Management.

Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar capacity, preferably within the luxury hospitality segment.
- Maldives/Indian Ocean experience and or Grand Canaria (highly desirable)
- Ability to present yourself with confidence, displaying strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Existing contacts within the Travel Industry (Travel Agent contacts highly desirable)
- Excellent level of both written and spoken English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office & Outlook.
- Superb organisational skills and ability to respond to different situations with flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
The package:
- Fully remote / field based (ideally in the South of UK)
- £45,000 + £6,000 per year car allowance
- Monday - Friday office hours
