**Position Overview for the Sales Manager:**

As the Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of our sales strategy, responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve business objectives. Your leadership skills will be crucial in managing a dedicated team of three, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. With 30% of the role involving international travel, you'll have the opportunity to make a global impact.

 

**Key Responsibilities for the Sales Manager:**

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives for our cutting-edge products and services.
  • Market Positioning: Recommend product positioning and pricing strategies to maximize long-term market share.
  • Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor products, sales, and marketing activities to stay ahead of industry trends.

Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a small sales team and international sales distributors network to achieve strategic growth plans and KPIs.
  • Training and Coaching Provide training and coaching to the sales team on effective sales techniques and strategies.
  • Performance Evaluation: Review and analyze sales performances against opportunities, quotes, and plans to determine effectiveness.
  • Collaboration: Foster effective working relationships within the business, ensuring a seamless flow of information and collaboration.
  • Product Research: Conduct product research for the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
  • Reporting Provide regular reports on activities towards targets to the company directors.
  • Customer Engagement: Research potential target industries and customers, attending meetings alongside sales engineers to strengthen customer relationships.
