Salary: Up to £40,000
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team towards achieving exceptional results. The Sales Manager will be responsible for setting goals, developing sales strategies, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the sales team to ensure that targets are met and exceeded.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the company’s products and services.
- Lead nationwide sales team members to achieve sales targets.
- Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
- Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
- Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs.
- Liaise with the Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency.
- Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure the sales team is on board.
- Train and mentor the sales team to develop their skills and enhance their performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a Sales Manager or similar role.
- Ability to lead and motivate a high-performance sales team.
- Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude.
- Excellent communication, team management, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- In-depth understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
- A commitment to excellent customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
