With presence throughout the UK, they successfully supply and distribute high quality products to variety of customers. We are searching for an ambitious Sales Manager to join their family-feel, busy team.
The Sales Manager must motivate the team to generate leads, build client relationships, set targets to hit, and exceed revenue forecasts, and ultimately meet customer needs. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a background in coaching, leading and motivating Sales teams to excel targets and expectations. It is crucial for this role to drive company values, and promoting a collaborate working environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual to get stuck into a new workload, managing a vibrant, dynamic team. For the right candidate, this will be a demanding, yet rewarding role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies and programmes to capture key demographics
- Building and promoting healthy, long-lasting customer relations
- Delegating tasks and projects, in order to complete tasks to the best ability, as a team
- Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the team and by assessing the teams strengths and weaknesses, implementing change where beneficial
- Establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
- Developing and implementing strategic sales plans that expand a company’s customer base and solidify its presence
- Providing daily reports of sales success and promoting to the wider team
- Recruiting, onboarding, and training of new team members
- Overseeing sales cycles and handling enquiries and complaints from customers via telephone and email when necessary
Key Skills:
- Experience in a previous fast paced sales management role
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth
- Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans
- Proficient in salesforce automation (CRM) tools and data analysis
