Sales Manager – Creative & Digital Services
Up to £45,000 + Car Allowance, Commission (New and Repeat Business)
UK: Remote/Field Sales
Do you have a background of working within a creative marketing agency? Have you sold complete creative integrated marketing services into brands?
This is a newly created position; one you can really make your own! You might currently be in a client services role, looking after/servicing house accounts and looking for the next stage in your career, or an experienced salesperson looking to move on to a new creative agency. Either way, this might be the ideal opportunity for you.
As the Sales Manager, your focus will be on generating new business opportunities within a B2B environment, developing your own leads in line with the company’s strategy to sell a full marketing agency services offering.
In return, you will work for a vibrant business trusted by many well known brands, one that genially looks after its staff and be supported by the Business Development Director as well as Sales Director.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Creating new B2B business opportunities, sourcing emerging markets and lead generation to achieve personally agreed targets
- You will show confidence and have a self-starter approach to seeking new opportunities
- Have a strategic and creative approach to relationship building with prospects
- Attend senior sales management meetings to discuss and contribute to company strategy and new innovative ideas
- Collaborate with the Business Director to formulate, agree, and execute a planned sales strategy
- Have an excellent understanding of what a creative agency does and how that can benefit businesses across all sectors. Understand and can promote the benefits of using an outsourced creative and digital agency to solve business challenges through communication, primarily through branding, creative campaigns, design and digital market offering
- To maintain and strategically develop existing clients, maximizing their spend
- Responsible for maintaining the development of individual pipeline and reporting via CRM (HubSpot), implementation of new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs identified by line manager aiding the approach, and closing of new business opportunities
- Be self-motivated and tenacious across the new business sales process
- Be proactive in understanding clients’ sector requirements to match their needs with commercial and innovative agency solutions
- Following up contacts from events/engagements to obtain first meeting and/or enquiry
- Attend events/exhibitions to generate new enquires and leads
- Be visible, presentable and confident in all sales channels (in-person, LinkedIn etc)
- Work closely with all internal departments & colleagues to increase sales awareness and knowledge of services and products
- Be aware of sustainable practices and demonstrate how this can have a positive effect on the sales process
Please note all applicants must have an understanding of the creative agency model, be confident as well as target driven and being computer literate.
A full driving licence is required.
