We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Manager to join our Customer & Commercial team leading Sales Executives within the region, managing performance and sales activities to achieve and exceed financial targets in Hospitality sales

The Sales Manager will
• Be a key member of the National team delivering Sales on some of UK sports most iconic events - The Cheltenham Festival, The Grand National & The Derby
• Create and implement sales activity plan to drive revenue.
• Maximize business from new and existing customers through an innovative approach always delivering the best experience to all our customers.
• Deliver the Hospitality sales budget for the region and each Racecourse alongside other members of the team creating a working environment that supports revenue management disciplines.
• Drive growth through sales activity plan proactively selling through the sales platform and use of commercial management techniques.
• Develop and account management plan to ensure the region maximizing all commercial opportunities from key existing clients.
• Ensure the team KPI’s are managed to achieve department daily and weekly standards, conducting regular one to ones to manage performance.
• Be aware of competitor pricing, understand the dynamics of the local market and the demand generators, and the effect it has on profit.
• Plan and lead the business development for the hospitality team, identifying new markets and targeting strategy.
• Implement and further develop EBMS systems to ensure effective information capture and enhance customer retention and relations in line with EBMS compliance.
• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders (Marketing, C&E, Operations) to ensure sharing of best practices, driving of efficiencies and delivery of outstanding service.
About you
•You will have experience of being successful in a sale and target driven environment with proven results in achieving financial targets.
•You will be an excellent communicator able to lead meetings effectively both over the phone and in person.
•You will have proven track record of developing long-term relationships with new and existing clients providing them with a premium service to help grow accounts.
•You will have a strong ability to prioritise and meet deadlines with an outstanding attention to detail.
•You will be a proven people leader capable of inspiring others to deliver sales results.
