The Role
We are looking for an experienced sales person to help with developing and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and maximise sales opportunities. You will work closely with clients to understand their advertising needs and create customised solutions that align with their objectives. This role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a thorough knowledge of the area and in particular the retail areas within the borough.
Responsibilities
The role is outbound sales driven, both on the phone and meeting clients in person.
- Ensure sales targets (personal and product) are achieved above and beyond each month
- Have a solid understanding of the B2B sales process
- Know your stuff: industry, competitor analysis, publications, key brands, what’s best for your clients - and how to increase revenue year on year
- Ensure CRM is kept up to date at all times
- Maintain and increase business development - increase new lead sources
- Build client relationships - client management, client retention
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to the management team
- Attend local events, shows, and conferences to network and promote the magazine
