Sales Manager / Business Development Manager
Location: Remote Fully remote. Company office in Manchester.
Hours of work: 39 hours
Salary – Negotiable on Experience
Main Purpose of Your Role:
- Business development of all gas, battery, and standby projects.
- Build client relationships, set targets to hit or exceed forecasts and strive in meeting customer needs.
- Communicate effectively with Engineering Consultants.
- Coordinate with Contractors, CHP Companies, Energy Management Organisations, STOR, Battery Developers & AD / Biogas Technology Providers.
Goals & Objectives:
- Increase CHP, Battery, Standby and Gas Generator Sales
- Achieve company objectives through planning, setting sales goals, analysing performance data and making forecasts.
Main Duties & Responsibilities not limited to:
- Prepare and report on market & business analysis
- Assist completing tenders, enquiries, quotations and technical offers
- Input into the technical and commercial viability of projects
- Recruit, train and coach within the sales team whilst setting departmental objectives and
- monitoring their performance.
- Hold regular meetings with the sales team, to monitor progress and identify any gaps in
- performance to develop strategies to ensure company objectives are met.
- Provide accurate reporting on enquiries and market conditions to management team.
Full current Driving Licence - The role requires travel throughout the UK, weekend work and possible out of hours’ work.
Willingness to undertake necessary mandatory in-house training programme associated with the role.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience of selling to the CHP and power generation market
- Knowledge and experience with MWM products
- Knowledge and experience in business law.
