Sales Manager / Business Development Manager

Location: Remote  Fully remote. Company office in Manchester.

Hours of work: 39 hours

Salary – Negotiable on Experience

Main Purpose of Your Role:

• Business development of all gas, battery, and standby projects.
• Build client relationships, set targets to hit or exceed forecasts and strive in meeting customer needs.
• Communicate effectively with Engineering Consultants.
• Coordinate with Contractors, CHP Companies, Energy Management Organisations, STOR, Battery Developers & AD / Biogas Technology Providers.

Goals & Objectives:

• Increase CHP, Battery, Standby and Gas Generator Sales
• Achieve company objectives through planning, setting sales goals, analysing performance data and making forecasts.

Main Duties & Responsibilities not limited to:

• Prepare and report on market & business analysis
• Assist completing tenders, enquiries, quotations and technical offers
• Input into the technical and commercial viability of projects
• Recruit, train and coach within the sales team whilst setting departmental objectives and
• monitoring their performance.
• Hold regular meetings with the sales team, to monitor progress and identify any gaps in
• performance to develop strategies to ensure company objectives are met.
• Provide accurate reporting on enquiries and market conditions to management team.

Full current Driving Licence - The role requires travel throughout the UK, weekend work and possible out of hours’ work.

Willingness to undertake necessary mandatory in-house training programme associated with the role.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience of selling to the CHP and power generation market
• Knowledge and experience with MWM products
• Knowledge and experience in business law.
