Position: Area Sales Manager
Location: North West /M62 corridor – Liverpool- Manchester – Leeds
Salary: Up to £50,000, bonus 20%, company car, pension scheme
Our client manufactures a range of commercial washroom flushing controls and is constantly innovating and using cutting edge technologies to develop new products and ensure their products are some of the most quiet, compact, and reliable on the market.
Their products are sold through a wholesaler/merchant plumbing & heating network, and contractors nationwide.
Resulting from continual growth they are looking to recruit a proven Area Sales/Business Development Manager to develop further existing merchant accounts and generating opportunities including commercial projects across hotels, leisure facilities, clubs, and public sector projects.
Key Responsibilities include: -
- Account management and the development of growth opportunities in the region.
- Implement jointly agreed HO plans at national merchants at regional level.
- Manage, monitor, and report on both stock availability and competitor activity.
- Identify and develop new accounts.
- Provide training to merchants, contractors, installers, and end users as required.
- Deliver the sales and margin budget for the region.
Candidates background and experience: -
- Experience in working within a merchant network essential.
- Good understanding of the M & E/FM contractor route to market.
- Experience of showers, sanitary ware, washrooms or related plumbing products.
- A proven sales record.
- An effective customer relationship builder.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- Can-do attitude who can think “outside the box”.
- Self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative.
- Strong IT skills in the use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
