Sales Manager
Offering GBP35,000 -GBP40,000 Basic Salary plus Monthly Commission. OTE GBP45,000 - GBP50,000+
Our client is a global supplier of products, services and solutions to the retail industry. They have enjoyed significant growth and are currently recruiting a Sales Manager to manage, support and develop a small telesales team.
The successful candidate will lead from the front, drive and motivate an internal sales team of experienced telesales account managers. Whilst managing the sales team, the Sales Manager will also be hands-on, directly managing and developing an account base of new and existing customers.
The Sales Manager will be an experienced sales leader, able to analyse data and make recommendations, motivate, and coach sales team to achieve targets, be focused on developing the internal sales team through:
- Understanding how best to motivate and support team.
- Able to communicate targets and objectives clearly.
- Identify areas of improvement whilst providing support and encouragement.
- Educating team on effective sales techniques, such as, objection handling.
- Ability to learn about products and confidently produce solutions for customer enquiries about products.
Sales Manager Skills & Experience
- An experienced Sales Manager with a proven track record gain within an internal sales / business development environment.
- Be hands-on and lead by example, being a point of escalation and managing a portfolio of key accounts.
- Have proven leadership skills, including; coaching, training and monitoring sales performance.
- Analyse and interpret monthly sales data across all accounts to assess and develop call plans for both Account Managers and Field Account Managers.
- Be driven and focused to motivate telesales professionals to achieve team targets.
The Sales Manager position is offering GBP32,000 -GBP35,000 Basic Salary plus monthly commission and additional benefits for the successful candidate. This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday Thursday 8.30am until 5pm and Friday 8.30- 4.30pm from our client s office in Leeds.
