Coventry office - day-to-day work from home with regular meetings in the office and new business visits in the local area
Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours per week
from £30,000pa plus commission
Our client, a fast-growing, family run company in Coventry, are looking for a Business Development Manager to handle all new business sales and relationship building. You will be an experienced individual looking to make a difference within a close-knit company with great communication skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Proactively identifying new business opportunities through telephone call, strategic meetings, networking, and leveraging various platforms.
- Cultivating meaningful relationships with prospective clients, with a focus on nurturing these connections to secure service contracts.
- Skilfully managing existing client relationships while concurrently fostering new ones.
- Formulating and executing sales targets and forecasts.
- Regular collaboration with the Managing Director, Commercial Director and Commercial Manager to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Minimum requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar Business Development Manager (BDM) role.
- Adept sales professional well-versed in the intricacies of the sales process.
- Capacity to efficiently manage one's workload with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable engaging with prospective clients both over the phone and through in-person or virtual presentations.
- Exceptional communication skills
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in the cleaning industry would be advantageous
- Organised with a great attention to detail
- This role is subject to a clean DBS check
