Sales Manager

A construction company (curtain walling,aluminium doors/windows) installing in the commercial sector, are looking to recruit a Sales Manager to be based in their Droitwich office in Worcestershire
The Role
As a Sales Manager you will secure sales to budget and target and maintain regular contact with key target contractors
You will provide accurate reporting results to the Sales Director and obtain sales in the refurbishment sector to meet budget requirements in Aluminium and PVC-U products
Day to day responsibilities
Generate tender opportunites from exisiting target contractors , follow up leads obtained from online sources, expand customer base.
Review Tenders and prepare estimates using in-house estimating package.
Follow up all tenders submitted to establish:
a) Position of company offer (who they are competing against)
b) Likely order date and on site requirement.
c) Arrange meeting for the Sales Director to attend to discuss VE / order meetings
d) If unsuccesfull establish who secured order and at what value
Visit / Maintain contact with Key contractors and contacts issuing reports of any visits listing any future opportunities. Develop new relationships when following up of tenders.
Preperation of quotations for refurbishment projects , liasing with approved fixing contractors in order to carry out surveys and agree installation costs.
Issuing of weekly reports at weekly meeting to Sales Director on status of all outstanding enquiries.
Preparing weekly call schedule around estimate return periods
Obtaining orders in line with Budget obectives
Accurate and detailed reporting of outstanding quotations and likley orders
Accurate quotations in line with standard format.
The Candidate
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager or Sales person with experience in the aluminium window, door,PVC-U and curtain wall sector. The role requires previous experience in a similar role.

Established over 40 years ago supplying and installing aluminium windows and doors, as well as PVC-U products and curtain walling for large construction companies. They provide all glazing requirements for the construction industry and work UK wide.
