LanguageUK is a small welcoming language school situated in Canterbury. The ethos of LanguageUK has always been to focus first and foremost on the students and to offer small group sizes with the aim of giving our students the care and attention they deserve whilst also maintaining a professional position within the TEFL industry.LanguageUK’s mission is to provide a variety of English courses to prepare students to the required English level in a friendly and welcoming environment both online and face to face. The quality of education is the main drive of our business. We aim to help students achieve their personal goals whilst improving their language skills to the best of their abilities. There is also a requirement to work with the Academic team to develop new course offerings for where they have identified gaps in the market. We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Sales & Marketing Executive to join our team and help to grow our school. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within the TEFL industry in a similar sale position. They will be a team player and be able to motivate and develop junior members of the sales team. They will be results driven and focused on achieving or exceeding sales targets agreed with the company directors. Duties will include but are not limited to:
- To increase the number of agents, with which the School can create profitable and sustainable relationship and collaboration with.
- To gather Sales & Marketing intelligence with the aim to accelerate sales
- To liaise with agents and raise visibility and reputation of the School, with the target of an increase in bookings and to follow-up agent leads.
- To expand the School’s effective regions and market share in order to increase student recruitment.
- To collaborate with the marketing team and to promote the School via various communication tools and platforms, such as social media, in line with the School’s Marketing plan
- To attend related promotional activities, agent/educational fair, workshops, exhibitions etc. in order to promote the School effectively; and to provide market analysis & sales reports post-event
- To prepare quarterly reports and overall annual report on sales and to consult the Principal .
- To contribute to departmental or school-wide working groups, teamwork or committees as requested.
- To follow and promote all policies and Staff Handbook and Health & Safety Regulations
- To maintain own continuing professional development
Ideal attributes:
- Bachelors Degree
- 5+ years experience in the TEFL industry in a sales role
- Excellent and effective communication skills
- High level of cultural sensitivity
- Results driven, ambitious, strong drive to succeed
