Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a popular business within the aerospace industry and we have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Support Administrator to join their team.

The salary is between £24k-£26k
- Monday - Thursday 9-5 Friday 9-4
- Chance to work from home up to 2 days a week permanently or adhoc, once probation has been passed
- 25 days holiday (3 must be used at Christmas leaving 22 days to use as you like)
- One Friday PM off each month (finish at 1pm)
- No set uniform - generally casual but as long as you look smart.
- Does not have to drive but it is preferable due to supplier and client meetings that may need to be attended
- Have to be good at excel
- Have to be used to working fast paced and prioritising own workload as well as working as a team
- We have a new system coming in between April and July so the person would have to learn our old systems as well as the new one
- The role would suit someone who is interested in moving into Sales at some point and wants to build up a foundation of skills
Your responsibilities will include:
The type of candidate I am looking for is someone with initiative, that wants to get stuck in and learn. This isn't the easiest industry to join and can be overwhelming at times so having a person who can take this all on board is crucial. The Sales Support role is involved in many different aspects and is an intergral part of making the whole process work. Attention to detail is key as the role deals with the beginning part of the process so we must get it right up front. Someone who is personable and happy to attend client and supplier visits is required. We always like to offer progression so if someone is keen to progress through the department/company then we usually can offer this if it's the right person.
To support the Sales Team in providing our Clients the best possible level of service through our administration duties

Be responsible for the entering of supplier responses on to our CRM system
Be responsible for completing all Client Order Books and liaising with Clients on any queries
Be responsible for entering Client enquiries on to our CRM system
Be responsible for entering client orders on to our system
Act as a contact between our Clients and the Purchasing Team when Supplier orders are delayed
Number of forward order queries
- Number of queries raising charisma stock cards
- Number of queries on Client order entry
- Number of queries on enquiry entry
- Number of forward order queries
Number of quote entry queries
- To sort external emails and delegate tasks to relevant people
- To transfer the details from the supplier quotes onto the Matrix
- To challenge any supplier quotes that need further information
- To chase suppliers for information on behalf of the sales team
- To report against the K.A.R.'s for own area of responsibility
- To complete all Client Order Books
- To enter Sales enquiries onto the Matrix
- Raising new stock cards within the Matrix
- Attend periodic Client business review meetings
- Attend the weekly Sales Dept workload meeting
- To deal with all airway bills
- To liaise between purchasing and our Clients to manage any late deliveries or short shipments
- To work with the Purchasing team to answer all calls in to the building in a timely manner
- To support colleagues in the Sales Department team as required
- To undertake other duties as may be reasonably required
Personal Skills and Experience
- The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, participants and external stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively as a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly outlook, word, excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Ability to self manage, prioritize work under pressure to tight deadlines
