Sales Support Administrator

Our client, an automotive component wholesale & distribution company, is looking for a Sales Support Administrator to join their busy Filtration Division.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be a key component within the Sales Support team and will cover a variety of duties such as maintaining and developing customer relationships and providing customers with quotations, whilst providing a strong level of customer service at all times.
In your new role you will have a variety of responsibilities, such as provide Sales Support to Senior Sales Staff, taking customer enquiries via telephone, fax or email, senior staff will support larger accounts, using the customer enquiry information to effectively prepare a quote for the specified order, this will be mostly repeat ordersnquires. Sending the quote, as per customer requirements. Processing sales and purchase orders for lower value smaller accounts. Maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers. Helping with any administrative work, including cover while other staff members are on holiday.
What you'll need to succeed
Our client is looking for someone who has worked within an office environment previously and ideally has experience in sales/ Sales Support, however this is not mandatory. To be successful, you must have previous administrative experience, a strong telephone manner and customer service experience is required as this role will be very client facing. Experience within marine, services companies or oil and gas related sales is desirable.
