Location: Manchester
- Lead requirements gathering sessions for later phases, proactively drawing out requirements from stakeholders and translating these into requirements definition documentation, including use cases, user stories and functional specifications.
- Oversee the configuration, management, and maintenance of custom objects, record types, fields, page layouts, formulas, data validation rules, triggers, custom workflows, approval processes, installed packages, etc. within applications.
- Identifies and resolves problems which may impact projects by monitoring progress and project status. Escalates important issues to senior project leadership ensuring that decisions can be made promptly.
- Play a prominent role in the transition from project phases to business as usual, ensuring a seamless shift in support and change management.
- Participate in initiatives to innovate and evangelise new and improved processes across the business with the goal of delivering group wide effective business automation - you must be recognized as a go-to expert on the tools; able to articulate the benefits clearly and concisely.
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics as well as standard ETL methodology.
- Good understanding of complete change management and release process via continuous integration models.
- Organise and manage test sessions, write test cases, execute system tests and prepare the defect reports.
- Manage the assignment of work to junior staff ensuring deliverables are produced to the required quality in line with departmental frameworks.
- Reach out to ensure formal and informal relationships, and very pro-active communications are developed and maintained, both within the department and between all business stakeholders, to promote an exceptional understanding of goals, timescales, requirements and benefits as well as collaboration and feedback.
- Work with offshore teams as required. NCC operate in North America, APAC, Europe and the UK. Travel both inside and outside of the UK may be required at times.
- 3+ years BA experience
- 1+ years Salesforce BA (or similar) experience (Desirable)
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
- Demonstrable experience of covering the complete project life-cycle, in a structured environment (both agile and waterfall)
- In depth understanding of the underlying processes that business systems support in a production environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Word tools including Word, Excel and Visio
- Previous project experience with interfaces between multiple systems.
- Experience working with both on premise and SaaS solutions.
- Knowledge around SFDX / CICD.
- Previous experience of working across multi-state locations and time zones, within a Company that has experience of mergers and acquisitions.
- Experience in the technology sector, even better in the professional services world is desirable.
