The SAP COE Logistics Lead role:
As the SAP COE Logistic Lead, you will be responsible for Leading a team of Logistics Consultants on & off shore delivering services to UK clients. This is a very customer focused, hands-on role where you will be expected to work on customer issues, developments, business processes, team continual development, workload management and time and absence management.
You will ensure planning and forecast commitments are met within your team, as well as collaborate with other functional and technical consultants, within the UK COE Service Team.
This opportunity will be remote based, with some travel to NDBS offices and customer sites, on occasion (maximum 20% of your time).
Key Responsibilities:
+ Providing a high level of 2nd & 3rd line advisory and consultative support to the UK Customer install base for NDBS
+ Providing estimates and communicating deliverable status to stakeholders
+ Analysing, configuring and implementing appropriate solutions when applicable
+ Testing and documenting new solutions prior to assigning back to the customer to carry out end users testing
+ Designing, configuring and testing specific core functional modules
+ Reviewing and improving current business processes and suggesting improvements where required
+ Feeding back potential solutions in a logical way for both SAP knowledgeable and non-knowledgeable audiences
About you:
+ Deep knowledge and understanding of SAP ECC & S4 HANA
+ Cross functional knowledge across Production Planning, Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Quality Management (QM), Sales and Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM)
+ High level of verbal and written communication skills
+ Documentation skills including functional specifications, test scripts, business process instructions and understanding the importance of version control
+ A strong ability to understand business processes and design appropriate solutions
+ Track record of full project lifecycle and development activities
+ Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and skills quickly
+ Excellent presentation skills
+ Proven experience in a combined customer service handling / functional support role
