Satellite Communications Engineer

As Satellite Communications Engineeryou will be part of global leader in next generation solutions for Ka-band and Q/V Wave satellite links.

As Satellite Communications Engineeryou will support both R&D activities and ongoing customer operations of the company on the Satellite Communications for GEO and Non-GEO links.

Your day-to-day duties will include

• Supporting the Company’s satellite network design activities with GEO and Non-GEO constellations.
• Developing prototype solutions on Non-GEO constellations.
• Analysing requirements for both GEO and Non-GEO systems
• Conducting research on system design for both GEO and Non-GEO links
• Using and developing link budgets.
• Calculating Non-GEO orbits to be used in the design of Non-GEO Satellite Communication systems
• Support the writing of research proposals and technical part of commercial proposals

Experience required

• Be educated to BSc or higher in Electrical Engineering or similar relevant field
• Have strong commercial experience as engineer
• Have strong experience in software development in Python, and orbit calculations
• Have good understanding of

  • Atmospheric propagation
  • ITU-R recommendations
  • Agile software development principles and methodologies
