SalaryWe are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Marstock, who are recruiting for a Scheme Manager on a temporary 10 week contract. The position is due to start immediately, with the potential for extention. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable up to £17 via an Umbrella company.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable client groups, have a basic DBS certificate, or be happy to have one carried out, and have proven experience of Housing duties.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Being responsible for a caseload of clients withing the sheltered scheme to promote independent living and safety in their homes (55 years old +)
Co-ordinating support services from other agencies, careers and relatives as necessary within the sheltered housing scheme
Raising important issues with the relevant manager on own initiative and communicating instructions or requests to various department
Ensuring that key duties are completed in order to support the work of the services
Monitoring daily contact with tenants as required, being proactive in checking on their welfare in line with their individual support needs
Experience required:
Experience required in Social Housing
Experience working with customers within housing
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Risk assessment and management
Compliance and due diligence
Working hours:
20 hours per week
Monday – Thurs (shift patterns may vary)
