Rev & Regs are recruiting for a Schemes Account Handlerrole on behalf of a well-established Insurance Broker, based in London.
As a Schemes Account Handler within the Schemes and Affinities Team, you will play a vital role in managing client relationships and supporting the administration of specialised insurance portfolios. This dynamic position requires a keen understanding of insurance policies, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach to handling various aspects of client portfolios.
Responsibilities:
- To achieve any personal or team business income and production targets set and agreed with your Line Manager and/or Director.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to cross-sell appropriate products and services to existing clients.
- Cultivate recommendations and referrals from existing clients.
- Correctly assess clients’ and prospective clients’ demands and needs and suggest appropriate products wherever possible.
- Administer the insurance portfolios of allocated clients in a timely, professional and cost-effective manner.
- Maintain effective Credit Control in respect of your allocated clients and ensure that receipts for monies are promptly banked and?accurately recorded and insurer accounts are regularly reconciled and paid within the terms of credit.
Experience Required:
- Proficient in general and/or property insurance processes within the department
- Knowledgeable about insurance market practices and principles
- Familiarity with the main methods of controlling and reducing insurance risk.
- Understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements related to the job.
- Proficient in structuring and processing both qualitative and quantitative data, deriving insightful conclusions.
- Demonstrates effective organisation and planning skills by efficiently scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating tasks. Emphasises key priorities to enhance productivity.
