We are seeking a dedicated School Administrator to join our team in Plymouth. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact at the school, providing administrative support across the organisation and contributing to the smooth running of the school's daily operations.
Day-to-day of the role:Serve as the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors, managing reception duties with professionalism.Handle telephone and email inquiries, ensuring messages are passed to the appropriate staff member promptly.Maintain accurate records, both electronically and on paper, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.Assist with the organisation of school events and meetings, including preparing materials and coordinating logistics.Manage student attendance records and report any concerns to relevant staff.Support the finance team with invoicing, purchase orders, and other financial administration tasks.Coordinate with various departments to ensure effective communication and the smooth operation of the school.
Required Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.Strong organisational and time-management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and school management software.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection laws.
