Key Responsibilities:
As a School Administrator, you will play a crucial role in the smooth running of the school office. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing the reception area, including answering calls, responding to emails, and greeting visitors.
- Maintaining student records and databases accurately and confidentially.
- Supporting staff with administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and data entry.
- Assisting with the organization of school events, meetings, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication.
- Managing school correspondence and distributing information to relevant parties.
- Contributing to the overall positive atmosphere and ethos of the school.
Requirements:
The successful candidate for the School Administrator position must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar administrative role within an educational setting.
- Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using standard office software such as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Must undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Right to work in the UK.
