We are looking to appoint an Administration Assistant to join a School in Chelmsford. The School are looking for someone who is highly motivated and a strong team player.
The role will involve working under the supervision of the Office Manager and carrying out general office duties, including a lead role in managing and monitoring attendance.
Previous experience of working in school administration and using school information management systems would be an advantage but is not an essential requirement. Applicants must have excellent communication and ICT skills, work well as part of a team, and have the ability to carry out data entry and checking with accuracy and confidentiality.
The must have requirements are a knowledge of Sims, Word and Excel.
If you have worked with a payment system before such as ParentPay that would be great but it is quite self explaining if you have a good knowledge of computers
Great communication skills are required to be able to pass messages on to other members of staff.
An enhanced DBS check is a requirement.
The role is to start asap and will be ongoing as previously mentioned there could be an opportunity to go permanant for the right candidate.
