Salary: £24,064 - £26,468 (pro rata for part time and sessional)
Hours: 32 per week, 40 weeks sessional

Working pattern - 8.30am to 4.00pm (Monday to Thursday) and 8.30am to 12.30pm (Friday)

Gylemuir Primary school is excited to be offering a School Administrator position within our School Office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management, organisation and supervision of administrative support staff. They will provide and operate financial management, integrated management information and budgetary information systems and services for the school. Within the framework of Council and Departmental procedures they will determine priorities, allocate work to staff, monitor performance, respond to problems arising and generally ensure that services are operating effectively.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
