We are seeking a dedicated and organised School Administrator to join one of our wonderful schools in Tiverton. The successful candidate will have previous administrative experience including working with Microsoft Office (word, outlook, excel etc), multi-tasking and working to deadlines. Training on school systems can be offered, if required. The school caters to a diverse group of 108 students spanning from Year 7 to Year 11. Previous experience with pupils with SEN is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure the efficient running of the school.
- Utilise Microsoft Office applications for various administrative functions.
- Provide administrative support to the school's staff, students, and parents.
- Demonstrate a high level of organisation to work on multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with the team and contribute positively to the school's working environment.
Person specification
- Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally in an educational setting.
- Previous experience using school systems (e.g. SIMS)
- Experience with students with SEN.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet given deadlines.
- Friendly and approachable with high attention to detail.
- Can work well in a team.
Requirements
- Must have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
- Must be able to provide two professional references which covers the last 24 months of work/study periods
- Right to work in the UK
