We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and organised Administration Assistant/Receptionist to join a schools’ administration team at a busy Secondary School in Scunthorpe. Previous experience as an Administration Assistant in a schools’ environment would be advantageous but candidates with a solid work history in commercial or public sector administration will be considered.
As an Administration Assistant you will need to have a confident and professional manner, you will be a committed team player with excellent organisational skills. You will have extensive experience of delivering outstanding customer service and possess the ability to develop relationships across the school. Administration Assistants need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment, receiving and relaying information accurately and in a timely manner.
You will need to be IT literate, familiar with the basic Microsoft office suite, and experienced with general admin procedures. You will be office based.
You will have:
- Minimum 5 GCSEs including English and Maths.
- Experience of working in an administrative setting.
- The ability to use MS Office software packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook, as well as Explorer and databases.
- (desirable - DBS on the update service - if you do not have an Enhanced DBS, one can be applied for via Reed Education).
