We here at Ribbons & Reeves are working with an excellent school in beautiful Kingston-Upon-Thames looking to hire a new School Business Manager to join their dynamic team!
As the new School Business Manager, you will be responsible for the business functions of the school, managing operations and implementing new strategy. As School Business Manager your focus will be naturally focussed on the school finances, ensuring annual targets are met.
School Business Manager Job Summary:
- As a part of the SLT, advise the Headteacher and Governors to achieve educational aims from a business and finance perspective.
- Responsible for the efficient distribution of school resources, ensuring effective use throughout the year to support the school’s academic objectives.
- Checking risk assessments are properly carried out and that the site is safe for staff, pupils, and visitors, ensuring all legislation is properly adhered to.
- Plan, develop and put into action financial strategies to help the school achieve financial and educational goals.
School Business Manager Job Requirements:
- Degree level qualification or equivalent in School Business Management.
- Accountancy qualifications: AAT, CIMA, ACCA.
- Experience within school environment.
- Leadership and management experience.
