Twenty4Seven Education are working in partnership with a secondary school based in North Birmingham with the recruitment of a Business Manager. The role is full time, permanent and to start as soon as possible. The successful applicant will have a strong track record in management within private/public sector and be an effective manager of people. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced School Business Manager to contribute to the development of a strong, effective school with an emphasis on promoting a culture of educational excellence. However, applicants from a similar background will also be considered.
Job Summary
- Provide strategic leadership and development of the business and resources functions of the school and its estate in line with overall Trust policies and procedures.
- Provide operational management of all aspects of business services, including HR, facilities and
- estates, school administration, catering, IT, governance and regulatory and health and safety.
- Lead on designated aspects of finance and admissions and attendance, working in collaboration with
- school and Trust leads.
- Provide strategic information for the Principal and Governors.
- Develop links with the wider Trust, community, families and local environment.
You will have:
- 5 A*- Cs at GCSE including English and Maths.
- Experience of management within a public/private sector setting.
- Experience in financial, HR, business and/or premises operations.
- Good knowledge of effective ICT administration systems.
- The ability to communicate verbally with, and write reports for, a range of stakeholders, including Governors and external agencies.
