Hours of Work:25 hours per week - term time plus 4 weeks
Location of Role:Eling Infant School & Nursery
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, proactive, hardworking and reliable person to fill the role of caretaker and join our supportive team.
We want someone who will love and care for our beautiful school.
The working hours can be flexible to suit the successful candidate – if you think this could be you please contact us!
Responsibilities include:
- Security – keyholder and unlocking/locking site (flexible working patterns can be agreed)
- Health and Safety checks and record keeping – training will be provided
- Grounds maintenance
- General school maintenance/DIY
- Stock management
- Working with cleaners and external contractors as required
- Working closely with the Headteacher and School Business Manager
We would like someone who is:
- Approachable, friendly and willing to be part of the whole school team
- Proactive, well organised and able to use their initiative
- Skilled in general maintenance and DIY
- IT literate
- Flexible and committed to the role
