Hours: Monday to Thursday, 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Salary: £10.42-£13.56

Job Type: Part-time

Requirements:

• Must have an up-to-date DBS on the Update Service
• Reliable and punctual
• Thorough and hard-working

Responsibilities: As a School Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment within the school premises. The successful candidate will perform the following tasks:

• Damp Dusting: Dusting surfaces to ensure a dust-free and clean environment.

• Cleaning Toilets: Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing toilets to maintain high hygiene standards.

• Vacuuming: Using vacuum cleaners to clean carpets and floors.

• Sweeping: Sweeping and mopping floors to keep them clean and free of debris.

• Mopping: Ensuring that all floors are mopped and maintained in a presentable condition.

• Emptying Bins: Regularly emptying waste bins and disposing of trash appropriately.

• Refilling Toiletries and Consumables: Checking and replenishing toiletries and other consumables as needed.

• Other Reasonable Duties: Performing any additional tasks or duties as required to maintain a clean and orderly school environment.

Qualities and Skills:

• Reliability: The successful candidate must be reliable, punctual, and able to consistently perform cleaning duties.

• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained.

• Initiative: Ability to work independently and take the initiative to address cleaning needs.

• Physical Stamina: Capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and prolonged periods of standing.
