Actual salary £20,057 - £21,081 pro rata to hours and weeks worked
37 hours per week term time only plus 5 teacher training days, with one additional week to be worked across the academic year
Working pattern of Monday – Thursday 8.00 am to 4.00 pm, Friday 8.00am – 3.30pm Friday
We are seeking to appoint a School Librarian to develop and promote an inclusive, high-quality, professional library service for all students and staff. The post holder will be responsible for the development, management and promotion of the library, ensuring that both students and staff have access to a broad range of reading matter, reference materials, research tools and information services to support teaching and learning and facilitate independent learning.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a love for reading and inspiring the next generation of readers and learners.
- Has knowledge of, and/or the willingness to learn, the Bedrock literacy programme.
- Is able to analyse data and information to inform good practice.
- Has a passion for reading and working with young people.
- Has an excellent standard of English – both written and oral.
