The School of Health Sciences is seeking a highly motivated and experienced senior professional to join its leadership team as School Manager. The School is one of eight Schools with annual income of around £19 million and almost 120 staff.

Your priorities will include:
- Supporting the Dean in the strategic development, management and administration of the School
- Providing effective leadership for the day-to-day operations of the School
- Providing leadership for the administrative development of new programmes, partnerships and other enterprise activities
- Effective management of the School's budget, resources and facilities
- Ensuring effective communication across and beyond the School
- Working with others to create and promote a positive work environment
Who we're looking for:
- Educated to degree level, preferably to Masters level
- Senior management experience in a higher education institution
- Knowledge and understanding of the key issues facing universities in Scotland
- High level business planning, financial awareness and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent written and oral communications skills, with a proven ability to influence and persuade effectively
- If possible, experience of working in a health or related area of higher education
