Outstanding SEND School located in the London Borough of Bromley is presently seeking a temp to perm School Assistant Site Manager/ Premises Assistant. This 11am – 6:30pm Monday to Friday position would be to start immediately!
The successful School Assistant Site Manager / Premises Assistant will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the School Premises, including grounds maintenance, health and safety, repairs, and classroom upkeep and will report into the School Site Manager.
- You must have experience working as either a Premises Assistant / Assistant School Site Manager or Junior handyman
- You will have experience in an *Assistant / Junior* post either with maintenance/ installation/ painting & decorating etc
- As a Premises Assistant/ School Assistant Site manager you will carry out daily inspections of the School Premises and grounds to ensure they are clean, safe, and secure.
- You have experience with undertaking minor maintenance and repairs to ensure the school is kept in good condition.
- You will be managing contractors and oversee major repair and maintenance works.
- Ensuring that all health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to, and that risk assessments are carried out.
- Managing the school's security systems and ensure the safety of all staff and pupils.
- Overseeing the cleaning of the School Premises and ensure that high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
- Managing stock levels of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
- Undertaking regular checks of the school's heating, ventilation, and lighting systems to ensure they are working efficiently.
- Liaising with teaching staff to ensure that classrooms are set up correctly and that any issues are resolved promptly.
