Streatham & Clapham High School (SCHS) is looking for a highly capable and enthusiastic Science Technician to support the safe delivery of science practicals and co-curricular activities.
You will be primarily based in the Chemistry department, where you'll work closely with teaching staff to deliver a well-organised, effective and safe experimental environment. You will possess an understanding of practical science, along with the knowledge and skills to prepare solutions, and a basic understanding of health and safety in a laboratory environment. You should have high levels of computer literacy, good organisational skills and the ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team. Any additional training will be given as required.
The successful candidate will be expected to work Monday to Friday, 36 hours a week during the school term plus 10 days.
