Satis Education are recruiting for a Science Technician for our secondary school client in Liverpool.
We wish to appoint a Science Technician to provide technical support and assistance to a busy Science department. This is a full time and term time only role, starting as soon as possible. The post holder will be responsible for providing quality support to both teachers and students.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing equipment and chemicals for lessons and class demonstrations
- Ensure apparatus and chemicals are maintained, stored and disposed of appropriately
- Adhere to rigorous health and safety standards
- Stock taking
- Retrieving and putting away equipment.
Experience of working in a school or industry laboratory environment is essential. Technicians play a pivotal role in the day to day running of our Science Department and it is essential that the successful candidate is confident in providing technical assistance and student support in a classroom/laboratory environment.
