**Science Technician Wanted**
Are you passionate about science and education? Do you have experience in working with laboratory equipment and materials? If so, you might be the perfect candidate for our Science Technician role at Central Cambridge Secondary School.
We are looking for a Science Technician to join our team on a part-time basis, working Wednesday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, for a total of 18 hours per week. You will be responsible for preparing, setting up, and clearing away materials and equipment for science lessons, as well as ensuring health and safety standards are met. You will also assist teachers and students with practical experiments and demonstrations and provide technical support and advice when needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A relevant qualification in science or a related field
- Previous experience in a similar role or in a laboratory setting
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A keen interest in science and education
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work
- A DBS check or willingness to obtain one
The pay rate for this role is from £118 to £120 per day, depending on qualifications and experience. You will also enjoy benefits such as pension, holiday pay, and training opportunities.
