SalaryScrub Nurse/Theatre Practitioner – Full time - Up to £40,000 – Brighton
An exciting opportunity has arisen in a leading Brighton Eye Hospital, for an experienced Scrub Nurse to join their highly skilled and supportive team.
This is a permanent position offering generous salary, which is reviewed annually. You’ll have access to brilliant company benefits and private healthcare.
Role Responsibilities:
• You will be responsible for participating in all aspects of the Ophthalmic Surgical pathway
• You will have specific responsibility for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team
• This will also include peri-operative and post-operative care in the surgical and refractive suite of the hospital
Qualifications:
• Be a Registered General Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner
• Have a current NMC/ODP registration with no restrictions
• A qualification in Ophthalmology or Peri operative care
Skills Required:
• Experienced and confident working in an Ophthalmology Theatre
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Committed to maintaining professional standards and ongoing learning
