Responsible to Horticultural Unit Manager
Responsible for Selling plants at Acorn Farm
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Serving customers in the Plant Sales area in a polite and courteous manner
2. Using the till
3. Knowledge of plants desirable
4. Watering stock as directed by the Horticultural Unit Manager
5. Displaying stock as directed by the Horticultural Unit Manager
6. Keeping the Plant Sales area clean, tidy and free from hazards.
7. Assisting in the glasshouse during quiet periods.
8. Assisting in the shop during quiet periods.
9. Assisting with clearing the cafe tables during quiet periods
10. Doing lunch time relief in shop and kiosk as required
11. Ensuring the security of the Plant Sales till at all times
12. Ensuring that only authorised people are allowed behind the counter
13. Maintaining appropriate health and safety standards
14. Safeguarding the property of the Association as entrusted to your care.
In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed the post holder is required to perform any other reasonable duties which may be requested from time to time.

Sun 9.45 – 4.30
