Location Overview:
With almost 13 million residents, Beijing is a thriving metropolis covering 16,800 square kilometres, or the size of Belgium. The Beijing Municipality is a flat area with a highly well-organised layout, with six concentric ring roads encircling the north, south, east, and west. Beijing's seasons are easily distinguished by variations in the city's weather and temperature, as well as unexpected bursts of colour. Beijing is a metropolis of huge contrasts today, with the ancient and the new coexisting with the city as a whole growing quickly. This is an interesting city to live in, with a thriving expat community and a nightlife to satisfy every taste.
