Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons that align with the national curriculum, ensuring a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
- Student Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging active participation and promoting the benefits of physical activity.
- Assessment and Feedback: Conduct assessments, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the overall development of students' physical and personal skills.
- Extracurricular Activities: Organize and lead extracurricular sports activities, promoting a holistic approach to physical education.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Health and Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of students during PE lessons, adhering to health and safety guidelines and protocols.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience teaching PE in the UK education system.
- In-depth knowledge of the national curriculum for PE.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for promoting physical fitness and well-being among students.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
