Secondary Teacher (Ks3)

_*This role is Temp-Perm starting ASAP*_
We are looking for an experienced Teacher to support within a schools KS3 area.
The School is for those that require short term intervention, respite or support until a positive transition back into mainstream or onto special school, with the support of an EHC (Education Health Care) plan.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the curriculum
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
- Deliver instruction in a variety of formats, including lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on their performance
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and improve instructional materials and strategies
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavior
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid teaching certification/license
- Strong knowledge of the subject matter
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain discipline
- Experience working with high school students is preferred
