Form of workSecondary Teachers Required | Permanent | ‘Outstanding’ Secondary School | ThurrockWe are seeking to appoint a talented Secondary teachers in Maths, English, Science, PE, Computing, Humanities and Social Science who are committed and highly motivated to help pupils achieve what they are capable of in KS3 and 4. You will have strong interest in the support of pupils and be committed to excellence as a classroom teacher. You will be expected to develop, plan and deliver effective and high quality learning experiences to KS3 & 4 pupils.Permanent positions are available plus a new school building includes two large and fully equipped rooms with new equipment as well as an Innovation Hub designed to harness and foster creativity, design and the latest technologies.Due to the unique nature of our growing school, we would welcome a conversation about career development opportunities and additional departmental leadership responsibilities are available to the right candidate and would carry additional remuneration. As a new school, we opened our doors to welcome our first pupils in 2020. Since then, the school has proved popular with parents and pupils and we are oversubscribed in all three current year groups. We have created a successful school that pupils and staff are incredibly proud of.In the summer of 2024, we move into our new £37m school building adjacent to our current purpose-built accommodation. When full, the new building will have 1200 pupils and be amongst the largest in Thurrock.
