We're looking for a Section Engineer to join our Transportation team and assist on our Oxford Station project.
What will your Responsibilities be?
As a Section Engineer, you'll be working within the Transportation team, supporting them in managing the technical compliance of the project to the design specification to fulfil the assigned project (or section) safely, on time and to the required quality.
To implement all of the Group's policies including those for SHE and risk management. To promote the Group's values towards its customers to meet or exceed their expectations and fulfil the vision of becoming the most highly respected company in the industry.
Your day to day will include:
- Assist in the preparation of ‘as-built' drawings
- To assist in managing systems to enable the progress of work to be reviewed against time, quality, dimensions, and quantity.
- Provide engineering support to ensure technical problems are overcome and technical queries are answered.
- Ensure workforce understand setting out information has been identified as suitable for the type of work being carried out.
- Responsible for setting out works constructed within allowable tolerances.
What are we looking for?
This role of Section Engineer is great for you if:
- Relevant qualification (Management qualification / NVQ L3 / HNC / Degree).
- Knowledge and experience of the main management systems and processes used within a similar business, preferably in a Network Rail or comparable setting.
- Commercial and Contractual awareness.
