Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead a dedicated team of engineers and technical staff in the successful delivery of designated sections of the HS2 project.
- Technical Expertise: Apply your engineering knowledge to oversee the planning, design, and execution of construction activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Problem Solving: Tackle challenges head-on and provide innovative solutions to ensure project milestones are met efficiently and effectively.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, contractors, and colleagues to maintain strong communication and foster a collaborative working environment.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and uphold rigorous quality control measures to guarantee the highest standards in construction and engineering.
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in a Section Engineer or similar role on large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and relevant regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic work environment.
- Proven structures experience on large-scale projects.
